The wireless speaker company just released their latest ad campaign built around the countless drawbacks of listening to songs in the digital age, when tunes may be abundant but, the company says, headache-free sound systems are not. The 15-second spots displays typical frustrations like trying to play a banger on your laptop, but not being able to squeeze out enough volume. Or maybe you’re trying to set a romantic mood for your date with some slow jams streamed from your iPhone to a Bluetooth speaker, and getting interrupted by a call from your mother. Sonos promises that you are better than this, one of the ads starring Paul Rudd and Rashida Jones, from the 2009 comedy I Love You, Man—makes the same overall point

 

 

Coming in 2017 Sonos and Amazon Alexa Voice Control, anyone with an Alexa-enabled device, such as an Amazon Echo or Echo Dot, will be able to play, pause, skip, or control the volume on any Sonos home sound system using the power of their voice.
