Hackett

Found on the ground floor of the shopping centre, luxury menswear brand, Hackett, has opened its doors in One New Change. Launching its new store in September 2016, this British brand has made headlines in the tailoring world that no one thought it would.

Divided into three areas, Hackett’s new location keeps to its roots, leading from the casual collection of cashmeres, through a Georgian archway to the dedicated, bespoke tailoring section at the back of the store, offering its customers a unique and intimate shopping experience. It is the attention to detail throughout the shop that really sets it apart from others in the area, including abstract artwork by the late 1950/60s British artist, Brian Bow.

The front of the shop is dedicated to their Mayfair range, with soft suedes, clean structures and deluxe leathers all key characteristics of the collection. The modern man will find it hard to come away from this store without a high quality purchase.

At an average price of £35-£55 per person for a two-course dinner and half a bottle of wine, it’s definitely up at the higher end of anyone’s budget, but you get what you pay for as the steak and red wine on the menu offer great flavour combinations and the views are unrivalled by any other restaurant around.
